The general assembly of ASHRAE Turkish Chapter was held on June 5, 2024, at Lazzoni Hotel in Istanbul. The meeting was attended by ASHRAE Turkish Chapter members, representatives from sectoral associations, supporting companies, and press members. President Ahmet Gökşin, who provided information about the activities of the 2023-2024 term, handed over his duties to Dr. Mehmet Zahid Poyraz.
Dr. Mehmet Zahid Poyraz emphasized the slogan “working together” in his presentation, introducing the new board of directors and committee members with whom he will work together. He shared information about the plans and goals for the upcoming term. The meeting, where past presidents also spoke, was closely followed by the sectoral press and concluded with an enjoyable evening dinner.
