ASHRAE Kazakhstan Section’s Impactful Technical Seminar at KazGASA: Unlocking Single Package Air Conditioner Innovations and Community Connections

On October 9th, 2025, the ASHRAE Kazakhstan Section successfully organized an engaging technical seminar at the Kazakh Leading Academy of Architecture and Civil Engineering (KazGASA). The event brought together more than 50 professional and student members, marking another important step in strengthening ASHRAE’s presence and knowledge-sharing network in the region.

The seminar focused on “Single Package Air Conditioners and the Structure and Application of Year-Round Single Package Units.” Participants had the opportunity to gain detailed insights into the design, operation, and practical implementation of these systems essential components of modern HVAC technology. The discussion also covered energy efficiency, system integration, and real-world case examples that inspired valuable technical exchange among attendees.

In addition to the technical session, a comprehensive introduction to ASHRAE and the ASHRAE Kazakhstan Section’s ongoing activities was presented. Members and students learned about ASHRAE’s mission, educational resources, and opportunities for professional growth within the global ASHRAE community.
