The ASHRAE 2025 Annual Conference kicked off with an inspiring opening ceremony attended by professionals, researchers, and students from around the world, highlighting the Society’s global reach and collaborative spirit.
As part of the event program, attendees participated in the “Membership Promotion Training” session, which focused on innovative strategies to enhance member engagement, foster stronger local networks, and support chapter growth across regions. Additionally, the RAL (Region-at-Large) regional meeting was held, offering a valuable opportunity to review the region’s annual performance, share best practices, and align on future goals.
A highlight of the conference was the recognition of Mr. Atilla Bıyıkoğlu, who received the Distinguished Service Award for his long-standing and dedicated contributions to ASHRAE. This prestigious honor brought great pride to the ASHRAE Türkiye Chapter and underscored the importance of volunteer service within the Society.
