ASHRAE Turkish Chapter Student Community Goals & Achievements 2024-2025
In 2024-2025, our chapter is focused on expanding our outreach to engineering students across Turkey, encouraging a greater understanding of HVAC&R technologies. We aim to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and industry practices by organizing a series of technical workshops, seminars, and hands-on industry visits. These initiatives will help students gain practical skills while connecting with leading professionals in the field. Furthermore, we will launch mentorship programs to guide students as they explore career paths within the HVAC&R sector. We are proud of the networking opportunities we’ve created so far, helping students form valuable connections with experts.
Looking ahead, we plan to increase student participation in ASHRAE research projects, encouraging innovative solutions to sustainability and energy challenges. Our community will also engage more actively in ASHRAE student competitions, providing students with a platform to showcase their skills and creativity. By collaborating with local universities, we aim to enhance awareness about the importance of energy efficiency and environmental responsibility. Through these efforts, we hope to inspire a new generation of engineers to lead the way in sustainable design and technology. Our ultimate goal is to cultivate leadership, foster innovation, and promote sustainability in all aspects of the HVAC&R industry.
