Dear ASHRAE Members,
I am honored and excited to assume the role of President of the ASHRAE Turkish Chapter, effective July 1, 2024. As we embark on this new term, I want to emphasize the importance of ‘Working Together’ to achieve our shared goals. This motto will guide our chapter’s activities and decision-making throughout my term.
ASHRAE, the global leader in HVAC&R technology, has been at the forefront of industry advancements for over 130 years. Our chapter is proud to be a part of this prestigious organization and to represent the interests of HVAC&R professionals in Turkey.
I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to the previous presidents of our chapter for their leadership and dedication. Their hard work has laid a strong foundation for our continued success.
In previous terms, the chapter’s responsibilities have been carried out by a dedicated few. My vision is to distribute these duties more equitably among our grassroots committees. By fostering a collaborative environment, we can harness the collective expertise and enthusiasm of our members to drive our chapter forward.
To that end, we will prioritize the following initiatives:
- Strengthening our grassroots committees: We will empower our committees to take ownership of their respective areas of responsibility and contribute meaningfully to our chapter’s success.
- Enhancing member engagement: We will create opportunities for members to connect, network, and share knowledge.
- Promoting professional development: We will offer a variety of educational programs and resources to support our members’ growth and advancement.
- Advocating for industry best practices: We will actively promote energy-efficient and sustainable HVAC&R solutions.
- Mentoring and supporting student members: Our chapter has over 130 dedicated student members who are crucial to the future of our industry. I am committed to connecting them with industry professionals and providing them with the mentorship and support they need to succeed.
I look forward to working with all of you to make ASHRAE Turkish Chapter a leading force in the industry. Together, we can achieve great things.
