First ASHRAE Member Meeting Held in Kazakhstan

On September 5, 2024, the first ASHRAE member meeting was successfully held in Almaty, Kazakhstan. A total of 15 participants attended the meeting to exchange information on sector developments and the significance of ASHRAE.
The meeting began with a presentation by Rollan Ismailov, who was elected as a representative among ASHRAE Kazakhstan members. Mr. Ismailov provided comprehensive information about ASHRAE’s history, structure, and organization, emphasizing the main purpose of the meeting.
Following this, Mr. Zühtü Ferah from Dinamik Proje, who was invited as a guest participant from Turkey, delivered a speech on project processes and the role and importance of ASHRAE standards in projects. Mr. Ferah’s presentation was filled with engaging and informative moments for sector professionals.
The meeting concluded with a dinner for the participants. This inaugural gathering is considered an important step towards fostering greater interaction and collaboration among ASHRAE members in Kazakhstan.
