Dr. Mustafa Kemal Sevindir
President
He received his bachelor’s degree from Yildiz Technical University Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Department of Mechanical Engineering in 1996. He completed his master’s degree in 1999 and his doctorate in 2007 at Yildiz Technical University, Institute of Science, and Department of Heat Process. Since 1997, he has been working as a lecturer in Yildiz Technical University, Mechanical Engineering Department, Thermodynamics and Heat Division. He actively takes part in sector organizations such as ISKID, TTMD, ISKAV etc.
Okan Murat ERENOĞLU
President Elect
Okan Murat Erenoğlu, born in 1976 , completed his primary education and graduated from İzmir Atatürk High School. In 1997, he graduated from Yıldız Technical University, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Department of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering. In 2010, he completed his Executive MBA at Koç University. Since 1997, he has held various senior management positions, including Sales and Marketing, Supply Chain, and Production, in different manufacturing companies in the insulation sector. In 2019, he founded Azur Yalıtım Sanayi A.Ş., continuing his activities in the insulation of HVAC equipment and the sales, marketing, and export of ventilation equipment. Throughout his career, Okan Murat Erenoğlu has served as a member and board member of sectoral associations and organizations such as İZODER, İSKAV, and İSİB at different times.
Hande Akten Çöl

She was born in Istanbul in 1990. After completing her education in Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Engineering at Kocaeli University, she graduated in 2014. During the same period, she also completed his undergraduate degree in Business Administration at Anadolu University Open Education Faculty. Subsequently, she pursued and completed a Master’s degree in Engineering Management at Marmara University. Since 2014, he has been employed in various corporate companies within the HVAC industry. Since 2018, he has been continuing his technical work in the sales department at Daikin Turkey. She has a particular interest in the fields of sustainability, green building, and energy efficiency.
Ahmet H. Gökşin

He was born in 1955 in Istanbul. He graduated from Yildiz Technical University Mechanical Engineering Department in 1979. He worked as professional 10 years and he set up Havak A.S. Company in 1988. Havak produces and sells industrial ventilation-air conditioning devices and accessories such as air curtain, humidifiers, dehumidifiers, air socks, industrial ventilating products etc. His second company General Filter Havak A.S. established in 2008 and produce all kinds of air filters. He is still working as the general manager of both companies.

Prof. Dr. Özden AĞRA

Özden Ağra received her Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Yıldız Technical University in 2007. Her research areas are Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer, and Two-Phase Flows. She is currently a Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department at Yıldız Technical University.
Ali Aktaş

He was born in Istanbul in 1972. He completed his secondary education at “Kabataş Erkek” High School and his higher education in the Department of Thermotechnology in Mechanical Engineering at Yıldız Technical University. During the same period, he started his career as a sales engineer at Isısan Heating and Air Conditioning Industry Inc. In the following years, he assumed the role of Service Manager in the same company. Since 2014, he has been working as the Marketing Director responsible for Turkey,Middle East and Central Asia at Bosch Thermotechnology Heating and Air Conditioning Industry Inc.
Mehmet Tuna YEŞİLIRMAK

Born in Ankara in 1982, M. Tuna Yeşilırmak holds a Mechanical Engineering degree and a Master’s in Engineering Management from Istanbul Technical University, as well as an MBA in International Business from Dokuz Eylül University. He also studied Business Administration at Anadolu University.
With over 20 years in the HVAC industry, he has extensive experience in Heating, Cooling, Fire Fighting, and Industrial Ventilation, including Cleanroom, Filtration, and Dehumidification systems. He has served key sectors such as pharmaceuticals, food, chemicals, oil & gas, and healthcare.
He is currently the General Manager of AIRPROCONTROL, focusing on Industrial Filtration, Ventilation, Dust Collection, and Silica Gel Dehumidification.
As an ASHRAE member, he is dedicated to advancing HVAC knowledge and supporting the development of future engineers.
Şükrü GÜLER

Şükrü Güler was born in Istanbul, Türkiye, in 1984. He graduated from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Sakarya University. During his undergraduate studies, he spent one academic year at Hochschule Düsseldorf (HSD), Germany, as an exchange student in Mechanical Engineering. He later spent nearly two years in London, United Kingdom, where he completed an English language program.
He began his professional career at KSB, one of the world’s leading pump manufacturers, where he worked for five years in industrial sales. He later joined Duyar Vana, where he worked for nearly ten years in the valve and fire protection industry, most recently serving as International Sales Manager.
He currently serves as Managing Director of Enola Endüstriyel, specializing in the manufacturing of metal expansion joints and providing engineering solutions for HVAC and fire protection systems.
He has been an ASHRAE member since 2018 and currently serves as the Research Promotion Committee Chair of the ASHRAE Turkish Chapter.
Dr. Mehmet Zahid POYRAZ
Vice President
Born in Ankara in 1977, he completed his undergraduate studies in 1999, graduating as a Mechanical Engineer from Erciyes University. He then spent approximately seven years in the United States, during which he earned his Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from The College of Saint Rose and began his professional career.
Since 2005, he has been a prominent figure in the ventilation sector of the HVAC-R industry. Currently, he serves as the Country Manager of S&P Türkiye, a globally recognized manufacturer specializing in a comprehensive range of ventilation solutions and fans.
In 2022, he further solidified his expertise by receiving his PhD in Business from Istanbul Zaim University, aspiring to be a true master within his field. Throughout his nearly 25-year career, he has dedicated his efforts to developing and delivering advanced ventilation technologies, always aiming to improve living and working conditions for people – a passion he has enjoyed every second of.
With his recent PhD, he looks forward to dedicating time to academia, currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at Istanbul Zaim University where he teaches marketing classes. He hopes to share the valuable lessons he has learned throughout his journey with students, while also learning from their fresh perspectives in return.
